2009 Antica Chardonnay, Napa Valley ($35): Fascinating floral and tropical aroma notes, with hints of mango and citrus, and a fairly rich entry. However, excellent acidity is a lovely balance point, and the wine cries out for food.

Just wanted to thank you for making a great wine. I recently purchased a bottle and enjoyed over dinner with friends. It is so nice to enjoy a full body chardonnay that is not over oaked. Love the fresh fruit and crispness. Did not know you also made Cab, I will definitly look for it. I have never been to Napa, but Antica will be top of the list if I do. Nice label too!
